FURNISHED RENTAL – INFORMATION & POLICIES
- Our furnished suites are available short or long term with a minimum stay of one calendar month. Prospective tenants must submit an application form in person, by fax or by mail.
- A security deposit in the amount of one-half of one month’s rent is due upon acceptance of the application. The security deposit can be submitted by cheque, money order or by direct deposit, in Canadian funds only. The security deposit will be returned within 15 days of the end of the tenancy provided there are no deductions.
- Our suites are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. In order to ensure this high standard there is a one time cleaning fee of $60 (studio suite), $80 (one bedroom) $100 (two bedrooms or one bedroom + den), payable with the security deposit. Should the suite need cleaning beyond this allowance because of the condition in which it was left, the additional expense will be deducted from your security deposit.
- Tenants are required to sign a Tenancy Agreement for the period of their intended stay. Tenancy Agreements can be a fixed term (one, two three months etc.) or month to month (requiring one month notice to vacate).
- Furnished rental suites include linens, towels, dishes, utensils, cookware, Cable TV, VCR, all utilities and parking. Some suites have in-suite laundry; those that do not, will have coin-operated washers and dryers in the building.
- Many of the suites are equipped with a local phone line; however, long distance calls do require a calling card. In suites that do not have an active phone line, a line can be activated at the tenant’s expense.
- Check-In time is from 12 noon to 5pm on the first of the month.
Check-Out time is 12 noon on the last day of the month.
Both Check-In and Check-Out times must be coordinated with the Property Management Office 389-1011.
